If you’re looking for a cat with personality, Chakapuli might be the perfect match. This 2-year-old brown tabby domestic short hair weighs 8 pounds but has a big heart and a playful spirit.
Chakapuli (pronounced cha-ka-POO-lee) was found as a stray and taken to a crowded shelter. When no one came forward to claim her, she was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the Friends of County Animal Shelters program.
Now safe and settling in, Chakapuli is showing her true colors—curious, affectionate, and always up for a little fun. She loves interactive play and exploring her surroundings, but when it’s time to unwind, she enjoys curling up for some quiet time.
Her $100 adoption fee includes a medical exam, spay, up-to-date vaccinations, and a registered microchip.
To meet Chakapuli or learn about sponsoring a pet, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, call 760-753-6413, or go to www.SDpets.org.
