ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The YMCA of Greater Rochester teamed up with First Tee – Western New York to offer free golf lessons to 20 youth this summer.
This initiative, supported by the Jerry Stahl Scholarship, aims to make golf accessible to kids and teens who might not have the opportunity otherwise.
Through a partnership with the Oak Hill Foundation, Rochester District Golf Association, and First Tee WNY, participants in the Y’s program will receive lessons, equipment, and course passes.
The practice starts at 6:30 p.m. at Genesee Valley Golf Course on July 28.
