ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A water main break has forced crews to close part of North Street and Portland Avenue on Wednesday.

The domestic water main break happened at the corner of those two streets. The streets will be closed between that intersection and the point where they both cross with Draper Street.

The break isn’t impacting the city’s drinking water, since the City of Rochester Water Bureau was able to isolate the break. Drivers should find an alternate route and watch out for crews as they make the repairs.
