A NEW location for the Ryder Cup has been confirmed just months out from the 2025 edition.
Team USA will face Europe at Bethpage Black in New York this fall.

An announcement was made this week concerning the 48th edition in 2031.
The tournament will be held at the Camiral Resort in Girona, Spain.
It will be the second time Spain has hosted the Ryder Cup after Valderrama in 1997.
And the 2031 edition will be the fourth time it will be staged in continental Europe.
Other than Valderrama in 1997, Paris hosted the event at Le Golf National in 2018.
And the 2023 edition saw a famous win for Europe in Rome.
The next five stagings of the Ryder Cup now all have their locations set.
After New York this fall, the 2027 competition will be held at Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland.
The 2029 tournament will be staged at Hazeltine National in Minnesota.
And after Spain in 2031, the Ryder Cup will return to US shores for 2023 at Olympic Club in San Francisco, California.
European Tour Group chief executive Guy Kinnings said, “Today’s announcement not only recognises Camiral as one of Europe’s leading venues, but also the considerable contribution Spanish golf has made to the proud history of the Ryder Cup.
“The Ryder Cup has grown significantly since Spain last hosted it in 1997.
“It is one of the world’s leading sporting events, which brings significant economic benefits and global exposure to a host region and country.
“So we could not be happier to be taking it to Costa Brava and Barcelona for the first time, and to Spain for the second time.”

The last five Ryder Cups have all been won by the home team.
Europe’s last win on US soil was at Medinah in 2012.
The European team came from 10-6 behind going into the final day to record a thrilling 14.5-13.5 win.
But the US team has not won a Ryder Cup in Europe since 1993.
