Arizona Cardinals rookie cornerback Will Johnson signed a four-year contract on Tuesday as training camp is set to begin this week, the team said.
Johnson is the last of Arizona’s 2025 rookie class to agree to his deal and one of the last players in the entire NFL draft class to come to terms.
Only Bengals pass rusher Shemar Stewart (17th overall) and Browns running back Quinshon Judkins (36th overall) have yet to sign.
The rookie embarks on his first year in the league after racking up 14 tackles, two interceptions (both returned for touchdowns) and three passes defensed before shoulder and toe injuries cut his final season at Michigan to just six games played.
Despite the abbreviated season, Johnson still led the NCAA in return touchdowns.

And while he was limited by a tight hamstring during Cardinals minicamp, Johnson was confident he’ll be ready to go come training camp.
“I feel great. Been doing everything just to get my body right. That’s what I’m going to spend these next five to seven weeks doing,” Johnson told Arizona Sports’ Cardinals Corner podcast last month.
“Getting my body is fully ready as I can be going into camp and going into the season so I can be ready for these next 25 weeks we got coming forward so just get my body ready and I feel great.”
The rookie enters his first year in the league with the potential to make an immediate impact in a young cornerbacks room that will be without veteran Sean Murphy-Bunting in 2025 (non-football injured list).
Johnson figures to be in the mix for starting reps in a competition that includes Max Melton and Starling Thomas V. Garrett Williams is expected to resume his role at the nickel.
