Ukraine within 50 days, warning  that his threatened economic penalties against Moscow and its trading partners going to be devastating.
Trump stated yesterday he will impose secondary tariffs of up to 100 percent on countries that trade with Russia in an effort to force the Kremlin to the negotiating with Ukraine, giving Moscow until early September to respond.
Vladimir Putin and U.S.-led summits with Russian officials in Istanbul and Riyadh, has so far amounted to little, with the Kremlin’s missiles continuing to rain down on Ukrainian cities.
Trump stated that the U.S. has settled a deal to sell weapons to NATO nations, and Rutte said those countries would in turn deliver weapons to Ukraine to replenish their depleted stockpiles. The Pentagon rested shipments of some weapons shipments to Ukraine earlier this month, but Mr. Trump reversed course last week, saying Ukraine must be able to defend itself.
Trump declared that the Russian leader was being truthful when he claimed to want peace. “I hope he does, we will find out soon, and it can be before the 50 days,” Trump stated.
NATO allies will finance the purchase of U.S.-manufactured Patriot missile defense systems and other weapons for Ukraine.
Technically speaking, it’s not Nato itself that is buying the weapons or making them available, but Nato members.
In summary, Ukraine’s President Zelensky stated that his officials were discussing a range of joint projects with European partners that going to see direct investment in Ukraine’s growing defence industry, as well as weapons production at sites outside Ukraine.
