CAMPBELL, N.Y. – State police are investigating a deadly shooting in Steuben County that started as a disturbance between neighbors.

Troopers said William Tong was shot on July 6 on Parker Road in the town of Campbell. The 53-year-old man died during surgery the next day.

Devan Hall, 41, the other neighbor involved, was cooperating with investigators.

So far, no charges have been filed.
