ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Clinton Square, one of downtown Rochester’s premier office buildings, is now under new ownership.
David Riedman, president of Riedman, a Rochester-based real estate firm, closed on the purchase of the 14-story property last week.
Riedman plans to maintain office space on the first seven floors and convert the top seven into more than 100 residential units. Construction is expected to begin later this year.
“We will begin some preparatory work, demolish work towards the end of this year,” said Riedman. “We’ll start redevelopment in earnest probably late spring of ’26. I anticipate it will take 24-30 months to complete.”
For those interested in becoming a tenant, Riedman said rent will start at around $1,500 a month.
