The Vanderpump Rules, alum, 40, is opening up about why she chose to keep quiet about husband Brock Davies' past infidelity, a revelation she shares for the first time in her upcoming memoir, My Good Side.
"There are some things that I haven't been as forthcoming about, or maybe that I never corrected the narrative on," Shay admitted, seemingly alluding to the bombshell affair.

But in writing My Good Side, Shay said she finally felt empowered to tell her story on her own terms.

One of the book's most emotional revelations came when Shay described the moment she found out about Davies' affair—while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer Moon.
According to Shay, Davies admitted that at the time, he was struggling with the idea of becoming a father again.
"I use the word 'chose' because it was very much a conscious decision," she wrote. "No one twisted his arm or dragged him into bed."
Shay and Davies welcomed their daughter in April 2021 and tied the knot in August 2022 in Cancun, Mexico. But amid the 2023 Vanderpump Rules cheating scandal involving Tom Sandoval and Rachel (Raquel) Leviss, Shay shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she confronted her husband about whether anything had ever happened between him and Leviss as well.
"He said, 'Absolutely not,'" Shay recalled, before adding that she followed up with another question: "'Did she ever try?' As much as I trust my husband, I don't trust [Leviss]."
