Fans have just hours left to wait until the fast food giant brings back an iconic menu item – here’s what you need to know before the release.

The wait for the snack has entered its final hours, as it drops on July 10 at 8:30am.
Participating restaurants will also offer the Snack Wrap on late night menus, too.
This new iteration of the Snack Wrap will coke in two distinct flavors, spicy and ranch.
The spicy Snack Wrap is similar to the Spicy McCrispy Chicken Sandwich, featuring a habanero kick.
Ranch on the other hand offers the opposite, a savory taste of onion and garlic.
But both versions will feature some of the things that made the Snack Wrap so iconic.
Both flavors will be served with “shredded lettuce & a shredded blend of mild Cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese on a flour tortilla, topped with a McCrispy Strip”, a staff memo obtained by The US Sun confirmed.
However, there’s been no indication that a grilled Snack Wrap will be offered.
Customers will be able to grab a Snack Wrap for just $2.99 in-restaurant, drive-thru and on the McDonald’s app.
The Snack Wrap was discontinued in 2016, but some locations had it until 2020.
LOTS OF BUILD UP
The release of the menu item has only come after lots of fan speculation and dates being teased.
The hype first began to build months ago, in December of last year.
Initially, the Snack Wrap’s return was leaked via a company memo to social media.

It was later confirmed by Joe Erlinger, the president of McDonald’s US.
He said: “The Snack Wrap will be back in 2025.
“It has a cult following. I get so many emails into my inbox about this product.”
CEO Christopher Kempczinski agreed that the Snack Wrap has an “incredible energy” behind it as customers await its return.
McDonald’s then confirmed the return of the fan favourite item with a social media post simply reading: “Snack wrap 07.10.2025.”
