DENVER (KDVR) — Three teenagers in Commerce City are facing half a dozen charges in connection with more than two dozen vehicle trespasses, stolen cars and multiple high-dollar commercial burglaries.
The Commerce City Police Department said three teenagers, ages 13, 15 and 17 years old, were arrested after an "exhaustive investigation." Police said the teens are facing half a dozen charges, including two counts of second-degree motor vehicle theft, burglary, criminal trespass and criminal mischief.

The department said the suspects allegedly committed three commercial burglaries in Commerce City, as well as in other areas, of dispensaries, liquor stores and vape shops. The suspects allegedly used stolen vehicles during the crimes, and in at least one, they allegedly used a stolen car to ram into the front of a business.
"Let these arrests serve also as a public service announcement; the teens prowled vehicles all over Commerce City, looking for firearms, garage door openers, and keys— none of which should be left inside your vehicle and one of which is illegal to do so (unsecured firearm)," the department said in a press release.
Police are still searching for more suspects. This investigation is ongoing.
