Any fans of Halo Top know that, usually, low-cal ice cream can be a bit on the expensive side, and it often comes with major consequences in the bathroom later. The Ninja Creami, after the admittedly high-ish entry fee, fixes both of those problems.
While home ice-cream makers aren't a new thing, the Creami is unique in how it works. Essentially, it's a miniature Pacojet, an $8,000 piece of restaurant equipment that uses a specialized paddle to microshave pre-frozen ingredients into creams, soups, and sauces. The Creami, at 2% of the cost, does the same thing, but just for ice creams and other similar frozen desserts.

With as few ingredients as milk and flavored protein powder, you can make a pretty convincing imitation of, say, your typical store brand ice cream, but for much cheaper and with fewer calories. Throw in some zero sugar Jell-o packets and maybe a few extracts or mix-ins, and baby, you've got a Ben & Jerry's-level stew going.
Plus, it's just fun to watch it go: I've got recipes on my phone for chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, cookies and cream ice cream, dulce de leche ice cream—I've found so many fun things I can do with it that I actually prefer the low-calorie ice creams I make with it than those I get from eating out.
Right now, you can get a Ninja Creami and two pints (yes, you do need special containers for this) at Walmart for $169, which is a small cut off the usual price of $199. It might not be the biggest savings, but if you have the type of sweet tooth I do, it'll still pay for itself in no time.
