Harlem Eubank has furiously slammed Conor Benn, who watched him wrap his hands before his defeat to Jack Catterall.
Benn, a bitter rival of Eubank’s cousin Chris, was present to watch the Briton’s recent defeat to Catterall at the AO Arena in Manchester.
Eubank has hit out at Benn during an exclusive chat on talkBOXINGJust moments before the first bell, Benn was sent into Eubank’s dressing room by Catterall to check his hands wraps were being made correctly.
It is standard procedure in boxing but was clearly an intimidation tactic to send in Benn, who Eubank had called out himself several times in the past.
And the eventually defeated Eubank was furious, and criticised Benn for his antics.
He said on the latest episode of talkBOXING: “Well it’s a shame my coach actually sent out the cameras.
“I was questioning this guy, he was wearing a ‘not guilty chain’, and it’s guilty people that do stuff like that.
“I actually enjoyed it and I told him, go and take a ringside seat because I plan on getting the job done.
“We were notified just before that it was rumoured he wanted to come into the dressing room.
“You know I enjoyed it to be honest, but I questioned him on his chain.
“I also questioned him on his chain and clearance documents[ from failed drugs tests in October 2022].
“He didn’t like it, but yeah I’d love to fight him in the future.”

The pair too looked destined to meet in the future, particularly given Eubank fights at 147lbs, Benn’s original natural weight.
But for now Benn’s focus will go on another member of the family in Eubank Jr.
The pair met in an extraordinary showdown in April, which saw Eubank Jr pick up victory in a thrilling battle.
But ‘The Destroyer’ had a rematch clause and the second instalment of their epic rivalry will land on September 20.
And he believes he has now learned to fight with less emotion, a factor which will see him get his revenge later this year.

“Same as the first one, less emotional, shall we say. Less heart, more brains, you know?
“I felt like in the fight, my demeanour was all win. I was up 30 seconds before the bell [to start each round]. I was up, ready to go.
“For me, I’m excited to run it back, more educated. Experience gained, lessons learned, going to get in there and handle business.”
