Benavidez (30-0) was recently upgraded to full WBC world champion after Dmitry Bivol vacated the green and gold strap in pursuit of a trilogy with Artur Beterbiev.

The Mexican picked up the interim version of the title by beating Oleksandr Gvozdyk last June and then defended it against David Morrell in February before his subsequent elevation.

Yarde (27-3) will mount his third assault at a world title after previously coming up short against Sergey Kovalev in 2019 for the WBO belt and Beterbiev in 2023 for the unified WBC, IBF and WBO titles.

The Londoner is riding a four-fight winning streak since his stoppage loss to Beterbiev, and beat Lyndon Arthur over the distance in his last outing in April.

In the co-feature attraction, Brian Norman Jr defends his WBO welterweight strap against former undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney.

Norman Jr (28-0) has held the WBO belt since last August when Terence Crawford vacated the title to make the switch to super welterweight.

He will be making his third defence of the strap following knockout wins over Derrieck Cuevas and Jin Sasaki earlier this year.

Haney (32-0) defeated former unified super lightweight world champion Jose Ramirez on points at New York’s Times Square at a 144lbs catchweight.

The American technician is set to make his first splash at 147lbs against Norman Jr, following world title reigns at lightweight and super lightweight.

Further down the bill, a battle between unbeaten lightweight stars Abdullah Mason and Sam Noakes also features on the Saudi show.

Both men will duke it out for the vacant WBO lightweight belt after Keyshawn Davis gave it up on the scales, when he missed weight by 4.3lbs for an optional title defence against Edwin De Los Santos last month.

Mason (19-0) is one of the most highly-touted prospects in the sport, and at 21 years old, he could become the youngest world champion in boxing today if he can get his hand raised in November.

Noakes (17-0) is a former British, Commonwealth and European lightweight champion, who, like Mason, looks to be destined for big things.

Ring Magazine’s card could also feature a undisputed super flyweight title fight between Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez (21-0) and Fernando Martinez (18-0).

In order for that bout to take place, WBC champion Rodriguez must overcome WBO title holder Phumelela Cafu on July 19.

Providing he comes out unscathed, Rodriguez will then get the oppurtunity to pick up the final two pieces of the undisputed puzzle, the IBF and WBA belts, against Martinez.
