Warsh is being touted cited as being a potential Trump pick for future Fed chair. Hence the comments that Trump will be happy to hear. Market participants are becoming increasingly concerned over Fed independence, reasonably so it would seem. I wonder if contenders, such as Warsh, would grow a spine once appointed though?

Warsh was a former member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. He remained independent of government during his time there, so perhaps these are all just words.
