Mr. Jeffery Miles Hackett, age 64, of New Middleton, TN passed away Thursday July 3, 2025 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Jeff was born March 26, 1961 in Lebanon, TN, son of Mary Sue Harrison and Oplis Miles Hackett. He was preceded in death by his father: Oplis Miles Hackett and step-father Jackie Donald Pope. Jeff was a 1979 graduate of Gordonsville High School and was a member of the New Middleton Lodge. He worked for Dana Corporation for several years. Jeff loved fishing, his 70’s and 80’s music and photography traveling many miles taking pictures.
Jeff is survived by his mother: Mary Sue Harrison Hackett Pope of New Middleton, TN; sister: Sharon (Chris) Oldham of Lebanon, TN; three brothers: Tony (Joni) Hackett of Lebanon, TN. Kenneth (Lori) Hackett of Lebanon, TN, and Paul Donald (Felicia) Pope of Brush Creek, TN; nieces and nephews: Dustin Davenport, Coty (Emilie) Oldham, Ryan (Sarah) Hackett, Austin Hackett, Will Hackett, Logan Hackett, Tristan Pope, Carson (Lauren) Pope and Clinton Pope; five great nieces and one great nephew.
Jeff is at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes where funeral services will be held on Monday July 7, 2025 at 6 PM conducted by Bro B. J. Thomason.
Visitation with the family will be at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes on Monday July 7, 2025 from 2 PM until 6 PM.
