Woman, 45, shot on Santee Street on city’s northwest side ...Middle East

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A woman, 45, is recovering after a shooting on Santee Street on the city’s northwest side on Monday, between Emerson and Otis streets.

Rochester Police found the victim around 1 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the lower body. An ambulance took her to the hospital and she is expected to survive.

RPD says no suspects are in custody. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
