The player model EA Sports used for the freshman Florida wide receiver in the game looks like a completely different person. So much so that Wilson himself took to social media earlier this week to plead with EA Sports to change the player likeness in the game ahead of its launch next week. Now, normally, a player being concerned about how he looked in a video game before ever appearing in an actual game might strike folks as odd. However, Wilson has a legitimate gripe with the game developer on this one…

Sooner or later, though, Wilson should get a player update. He’s one of the top freshmen in the country in 2025. The Tampa (Fla.) Bay Tech recruit signed with the Gators and enrolled in January. He was the 35th-ranked prospect in the 2025 class and should have a decent role within the offense as a freshman.
Wilson was explosive in Florida’s annual Orange and Blue game, bringing in 10 catches for a spring game-record 195 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
If he continues the recent trend of freshmen phenom receivers in college football, he’ll get an update.
