The home decor chain is being forced to shut down its six locations in Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri, and Tennessee.
There is no date yet for when the locations will close, but there are currently massive liquidation sales being held.
Items are currently available for 25% to 50% off, and the stores will be closed when there is nothing left to sell.
Trees n Trends posted the announcement to social media on June 28 from the owners the Wallace family, stating: “I want to say thank you to our customers who have shopped [at] our stores these many years.
“I want to say thank you to our employees past and present for your hard work, dedication and loyalty.
“Many of our employees have been with us 20 years and some even 30 years.
“We have been a family-owned business, and we have had a family with us almost from the very beginning.”
The statement goes onto thank God for his”goodness and faithfulness”.
LAST GASPS
Those who are interested in getting these sale items need to be wary about store opening times.
Trees n Trends has now limited its store hours, opening Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm, and closing on Sundays.
Stores will only be accepting cash or card as payment methods.
And as the sales go on, there will be new items brought into stores, including some seasonal items.
Customers online have shared their reactions to the closure news, reminiscing about their memories of the family-owned business.
