In addition to watching the nine remaining queens compete in the Snatch Game, we also got some details on how the semi-finals and finals of this season will work. Here's a quick overview, minus the convoluted rules from the qualifying rounds, which, THANKFULLY, we've left in the past.
Semi-Finals:
The points system from the qualifying rounds is gone, and for two weeks, we're basically using good old-fashioned Drag Race rules. All semi-finalists compete in a challenge, the winner gets $10,000, and the bottom two lip sync for their lives.This week we saw one queen sent home, and presumably we'll lose one more next week, leaving seven finalists.The details are a bit murkier here, but the finale is coming into focus a bit. The seven queens who make it out of the semi-finals will automatically face off in the Lip Sync Smackdown for the Crown.However, an additional wrinkle was added to the mix. Each of the regular judges (Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews and Ts Madison) will each select one of the 11 eliminated queens to return. From that list, one name will be drawn at random, and that queen will also be added to the final Lip Sync Smackdown for the Crown.That brings our total to eight queens in the finale, which makes for an excellent bracket-style lip sync for the crown LaLaPaRuZa-style.The winner will receive a cash prize of $200,000 and a place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
However, before we get too far ahead of ourselves, the nine semi-finalists competed this week in a fairly uneventful round of Snatch Game with a suiting "Ru-veal" runway. One queen won, two queens were in the bottom, and a 10th queen from this season was sent home.

While this was technically the semi-finals, in a lot of ways it felt like a continuation of last week's Bracket 3. Cynthia and her cucu were back, and as the only semi-finalist without a proper top two placement in the qualifying rounds, she was starting at a disadvantage. Snatch Game is also not a challenge that Cynthia excels at. So despite how delightfully unhinged her Count Dracula impersonation was, she was put up for elimination against Mistress Isabelle Brooks. Obviously, Mistress and the TV gold that she is was not going anywhere. And so, despite the other queens from Bracket 3 sending Cucu on, RuPaul quickly swatted her back to the loser's den.

At the end of Episode 3, RuPaul announced a wild card lottery for the Season 10 finale. While the finale logistics remain a bit dubious, each of the regular judges on this season will select one queen they'd like to send to the finale. A random draw will then put one of those four queens into the final lip sync against whoever remains post-semi-finals.
