Arizona State rated as a top-5 offense in EA Sports College Football 26 ...Middle East

Arizona State is ranked 14th overall among teams in the EA Sports College Football 26 video game, including fourth on offense.

Texas, Penn State, Ohio State and ASU all have offenses with a 91 rating. No other team has at least 90. The Sun Devil defense is just inside the top 25 at No. 23 with an 84 rating.

ASU has three players ranked inside the top 100 nationally, with wide receiver Jordyn Tyson sitting at the top of the trio.

Tyson was given a 94 rating for the game’s debut, ranking third among receivers and tied for seventh overall.

Quarterback Sam Leavitt, who is a cover athlete on the game’s deluxe edition along with coach Kenny Dillingham, and safety Xavion Alford both were rated 91.

Tyson saw the biggest jump in rating from the game’s previous iteration, which had the receiver at 73 overall at its unveiling. It slotted him behind teammates Melquan Stovall and Xavier Guillory, who were given a 74 rating.

Leavitt reached 91 with a jump from 76, while Alford had the second-highest rating in last year’s game among Sun Devils returning this fall at 80.

Running back Kanye Udoh is ASU’s top-rated newcomer with an 88 ranking. The junior transferred from Army.

Where Tyson, Leavitt and Alford rank in their positions in College Football 26

Among wide receivers, Tyson is behind only Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith (98) and Alabama’s Ryan Williams (95), who both had magical seasons as true freshmen in 2024.

Leavitt was behind three signal callers, all of whom were one point ahead at 92. That trio is Penn State’s Drew Allar, Clemson’s Cade Klubnik and LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier.

Alford was sixth among safeties. Ohio State’s Caleb Downs (96), Dillon Thieneman (93) of Oregon and a trio of Michigan’s Rod Moore, TCU’s Bud Clark and Duke’s Terry Moore tied at 92 rounded out those ahead.

The game is scheduled to drop on July 10. Those who pre-order will have access three days early.
