On July 1, Waffle House revealed the change via both its Instagram and X, formerly Twitter, pages. "Egg-cellent news," the chain teased.
Waffle House noted that the change was effective as of June 2. Some followers questioned that date, wondering if perhaps it was supposed to note the change was effective as of July 2, the day after the announcement. Either way, it appears that the change is in place nationally now, and customers are thrilled.
