If you can’t book a stay in Michael Jordan’s former home in a Chicago suburb, another Bulls legend may have you covered.
While headlines about Michael Jordan’s former Highland Park mansion being listed on Airbnb surfaced this week, many may not have known that the one-time home of Jordan’s former teammate Scottie Pippen is also listed on the rental site – and in the same suburb.
“This house was originally owned by Scottie Pippen and has it all!” the listing states, touting the home’s large swimming pool, year-round jacuzzi, movie screen and more, including an autograph from Pippen himself.
And of course, it comes with an indoor basketball court.
The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom house runs for a much smaller price tag too.
For a 21-night stay in November and December, the house lists a price of $32,615 for six people. For the same dates, Jordan’s former home lists a price of $333,099 for 12 people, the maximum it can hold.
Pippen’s former home has been on the rental site for some time, however.
Meanwhile, the sprawling home formerly owned by Bulls icon Jordan began “accepting bookings for short-term luxury stays” via Airbnb Luxe earlier this week.
Beginning Monday, the 7.39-acre estate known as Champions Point, now owned by John Cooper, became available on the rental website.
“This storied property offers guests a rare opportunity to experience one of the Midwest’s most exclusive estates,” a press release stated.
The home can accommodate up to 12 guests, with seven bedrooms and 20 bathrooms, making it “ideal for private getaways, milestone celebrations, or bespoke retreats,” according to the listing.
“Champions Point has always been a legendary estate,” owner John Cooper said in a statement. “Now, we’re making it possible for more people to experience that magic firsthand through our partnership with Airbnb Luxe. Whether it’s a family retreat, milestone celebration, or unforgettable getaway with friends, this estate offers an unparalleled experience in luxury living.”
And of course, it too has a basketball court.
“Champions Point” features a full-size regulation basketball court, championship-level putting green, tennis court, fitness center and more.
The new owner had previously offered the property up for rent this spring, billing it as “The Ultimate March Madness Retreat,” with a month-long stay at $230,000.
