AT least one person has been killed and three others injured after a man went on a stabbing spree in Germany.
Emergency responders launched a major operation after the suspect stormed a utility company and attacked several employees.
Aerial view of MellrichstadtGerman cops said a police investigation is currently underway in Mellrichstadt, where the company is located.
They added: “A police operation is currently underway in Mellrichstadt. Police officers and emergency services are on scene in large numbers.”
It is understood that the suspect is already in police custody.
There is currently no information on the suspect’s motive behind the fatal attack.
German media outlet Bild reports that the office building in Mellrichstadt belonged to Überlandwerke Rhön.
