ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Bright sunshine Monday morning will give way to some clouds during the afternoon with a shower or thunderstorm possible later in the day. Turning hot and humid with temperatures around 90 and the feel like reading in the mid 90s. A small shower threat with the warm front Monday afternoon and an isolated thundery downpour possible late afternoon into tonight. At this time it appears the rain will be manageable but will monitor for you into tonight.

Cold front arrives on Tuesday with scattered showers and thunder but nothing severe expected. Weather clears for a beautiful Wednesday with less humid weather. Looking to the end of the week towards the 4th of July plan on a shower or thunderstorm of Thursday with clearing skies for Friday. The weather looks wonderful for 4th of July parades, picnics and firework shows at night. Some heat builds back into the region next weekend with fine weather on Saturday.
