ONTARIO COUNTY, N.Y. – Ten fire districts worked to put out four homes that were on fire on Cottage Cove in Honeoye Sunday morning.
Richmond Fire Chief Jessica Miller said two of the homes had people in them at the time of the fire, but they escaped without injury, and two of the homes are a total loss.
Miller said three of the homes had people living in them all year, and one was a summer cottage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
