Tennessee is double-dipping on Saturday, grabbing a pair of athletes for the 2026 recruiting class as June begins winding down to a close.
The first commitment came in the form of Zaydyn Anderson. An in-state 3-star prospect, Anderson has made plays on both sides of the ball in high school and is expected to suit up as a defensive back for Josh Heupel and the Vols.
Later Saturday evening, Tennessee dipped into Texas for a commitment from quarterback Legend Bey. Bey also competes in track and field as a sprinter and is expected to change positions at the next level.
He previously set a final group that also included Texas A&M, Ohio State, West Virginia and Duke before landing with the Vols:

During the 2024 season, Bey threw for 1,424 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also ran for over 1,800 yards with 28 rushing touchdowns as a dual-threat QB. Looking forward, Bey is a 3-star athlete according to the 247 Sports Composite and is rated as the 28th ATH nationally for the class of 2026.
Bey’s primary recruiter is listed as Tennessee’s Kelsey Pope, the wide receivers coach under Heupel, so fans can likely look forward to seeing the speedster with the ball in his hands offensively.
Overall, Bey is the 13th hard commitment for the Vols in the 2026 recruiting class. That group is up to 22nd nationally per the team composite rankings, but there is plenty of work to be done before the cycle concludes.
