Paul Pogba has completed a move to AS Monaco after spending close to two years away from football.
The Frenchman has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at the Ligue 1 side, who finished third in the 2024/25 campaign.

In October 2023, it was confirmed that the midfielder failed a drugs test as he tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone.
A four-year ban was issued, although later reduced to 18 months as part of a successful appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Pogba was able to return to training and then playing in January and March respectively, although he left Juventus shortly beforehand.
The 32-year-old now has a new club confirmed ahead of the 2025/26 season and will take the no. 8 shirt at Monaco.
For the first time in his career, Pogba will play professional football at a club in France.
Despite featuring in the academies of US Roissy-en-Brie, Torcy and Le Havre, he never made a senior appearance in his homeland.
Pogba left Le Havre for Manchester United in 2009 and made his first-team debut for the Premier League giants two years later.
After a total of seven appearances, he departed Old Trafford in 2012 to sign for Juventus.
He won four consecutive Serie A titles in Turin and emerged as one of the best young talents in European football.

Pogba has made his long-awaited return to football with MonacoGettyUnited came calling for a second time in 2016 and Pogba returned by signing a then-world record fee of £89million.
During his six-year second spell, he increased his appearance total to 233 in all competitions, scoring 39 goals and assisting 51.
A second move to Juventus followed in 2022 after his the expiration of his contract at United.
Pogba played only ten matches in the 2022/23 season due to injuries and then only two more in the next campaign before suspension.
His last competitive match came on September 3 2023 in a 2-0 Serie A win over Empoli.
Pogba’s debut for Monaco could come on August 17 when they open their Ligue 1 campaign against his former club Le Havre.
Pogba will hope to make it into the France squad at the 2026 World CupGettyHe is also set to play in the Champions League next season thanks to their third-place finish.
The World Cup winner’s last appearance in the competition was with United in March 2022.
