The 28-year-old Problem Child comes into the clash with a record of 11-1-0, with his only loss at the hands of Tommy Fury.

Chavez Jr, 12 years Paul’s senior, comes into the fight with a record of 54-6-0, winning 34 fights by KO as well as holding the world middleweight title in 2011-12.

However, despite his pedigree, the Mexican has only fought once in the past four years – a decision win over ex-UFC star Uriah Hall in July 2024.

SunSport can reveal if there is a rematch clause in the contract.
