After all 59 picks were made in the 2025 NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns moved quickly in agreeing to a two-way contract with Appalachian State forward CJ Huntley, ESPN’s Jonathan Givony first reported.
Huntley played 153 games over five seasons at App State, starting every game for the Mountaineers last season. It was the first time he’s started every game over the course of a season.
He averaged career-highs 15.7 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists. He can stretch the floor a bit, hitting 35.6% of his 3.8 3-point attempts per game in 2024-25.
