Manchester City and Juventus have both won their opening games in this competition.
But Juventus narrowly lead in the standings to take top spot for now.
They have the same goal difference of +8 but because Juventus have netted one more than the Premier League outfit, they could just beat them to it if they hold City to a draw on Thursday night.

Goals from Ilkay Gundogan, Claudo Echeverri, Erling Haaland, Oscar Bobb and a first goal for Rayan Cherki for City, saw them put on a clinic in the Club World Cup.
They did face UAE Pro League’s 5th placed Al Ain though and were expected to come out easy winners.
But from now on the games will get tougher as they come against the Italian giants and going into the knockouts will see more tough European and South American opponents.
