The PDC returns to the United States as the seventh US Darts Masters takes place this weekend, with eight of the PDC’s biggest stars taking on eight representatives of North American darts.
This event is a rarity in that neither Luke Littler or Luke Humphries has won it, while the only two-time winner Michael van Gerwen returns to PDC action after some time off.
The North American contingent are getting stronger by the year and will be aiming to provide a big shock by going one better than Jeff Smith’s runner-up spot from two years ago.
We picked out a 20/1 winner in the World Cup of darts, and here we pick out the best bets from the action at Madison Square Garden.

US Darts Masters – Tips
Luke Littler to win the US Darts Masters @ 7/4 Rob Cross to win the US Darts Masters @ 12/1Littler may be too good
While there may be an even split of North American darts stars and ones from the rest of the world in this year’s US Darts Masters, the fact that the shortest-priced North American player is Matt Campbell at 80/1 should tell a story of its own.
This event is likely to be dominated by the PDC’s handpicked stars and world champion Luke Littler may take some stopping in New York.
The Nuke was beaten 7-6 by Gerwyn Price in the semi-finals last year despite averaging 104 and if he maintains that level of form, he will be hard to stop.
Littler received his fair share of criticism after he and Luke Humphries failed to make an impact at the World Cup of Darts where the pair, representing England, went off short-priced favourites.
However, that is only likely to motivate the youngster even more to bounce back in style in this event.
Littler has already won the world title, the UK Open, finished runner-up in the Premier League of Darts and has two World Series titles to his name, so he could easily add to that tally with a success in New York.
Cross could follow up title win
Rob Cross may not be the name he was when he burst onto the scene with his 2018 World Championship win, but he remains a very solid player who, on his day, can beat anybody.
Voltage held off Gerwyn Price in dramatic fashion to win the US Darts Masters 8-7 12 months ago and he looks overpriced to make it back-to-back victories.
In the three World Series events so far this year it has been Cross and Stephen Bunting who have made the biggest impression, with Cross winning the Dutch Darts Masters and finishing as runner-up in the Nordic Darts Masters.
The 34-year-old looks too big a price to continue that strong form and he could well win this year’s US Darts Masters.
