ROCHESTER, N.Y. — RG&E is planning power outages around Sodus in Wayne County this week so crews can perform circuit work upgrades to a substation.
RG&E says the circuit work will help to prevent outages that some customers have experienced in the area. The planned outages will impact Maple Avenue, Lake Road, and Middle Road at different times. Here is the schedule:
On Wednesday, June 25:
Maple Avenue, south of Rt. 104, Belden Avenue, Spring Street, and Danford Street from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. (weather delay date of June 26, 2025, or next clear day). Maple Avenue, north of Route 104 and south of Mud Lane from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. (weather delay date of June 26, 2025, or next clear day)On Thursday, June 26:
Maple Avenue, north of Mud Lane to Lake Road from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.(weather delay date of June 27, 2025, or next clear day) Lake Road at Maple Avenue, to just west of and including Dufloo Roadfrom 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. (weather delay date of June 27, 2025, or next clear day)On Friday, June 7:
Lake Road, west of Dufloo Road from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. (weather delaydate of June 28, 2025, or next clear day) Middle Road, from Maple Avenue from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. (weather delaydate of June 28, 2025, or next clear day)There won’t be any road closures during the outages but drivers may encounter lane closures. RG&E is reminding drivers to be cautious around workers.
