After a season at Arkansas, Zane Becker has found a new home in the SEC.
Becker entered the transfer portal after playing for the Razorbacks in 2025. On Tuesday, he announced that he is returning to his home state of Texas and taking his talents to College Station. Becker shared the news of his commitment to Texas A&M on social media.

He played in only 20 games of the 2025 campaign, logging 31 at-bats while also being hit by a pitch 4 times and drawing 5 walks. In his ABs, Becker posted a batting average of .258, collecting 8 hits, including 3 doubles and 1 home run for 14 total bases.
A Flower Mound High School product, Becker was rated the No. 34 player in Texas and No. 4 catcher in the Lone Star State by Perfect Game. He was rated No. 386 overall and the No. 41 catcher nationally in the Class of 2024.
Becker’s last appearance came on May 31 in Arkansas’s 12-1 win over Creighton during the Fayetteville Regional. He did not see action during the Super Regional series with Tennessee or the College World Series.
