After the co-stars were seen kissing on the red carpet, Bailey, 40, broke his silence on the matter while speaking to Entertainment Tonight.
While not everyone is comfortable kissing their friends, it's clear that both Bailey and Johansson know their smooches are platonic. While Bailey is openly gay, Johansson has been married to husband Colin Jost for four years.

Bailey hasn't been shy about his sexuality, and he previously opened up about the "weight" he feels about co-headlining the movie as an out gay actor.
Bailey continued, "Any sort of sense of prejudice against sexuality is something to fight against, and what better way to do that than to go and play any kind of character."
"Being an out gay actor, historically, meant that you wouldn't be able to play straight and there weren't any gay parts to play anyway," he added. "That's obviously changed massively."
