(KRON) — The last missing victim of the tragic Lake Tahoe capsizing, which killed eight people and injured two others, was found dead Monday afternoon, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office said.
Two people were originally missing after a boat capsized during a freak storm at Lake Tahoe Saturday night. Divers pulled one of the missing victims from the lake Saturday evening. On Monday, divers returned to the lake and recovered the last victim.
“There are no more unaccounted persons from this tragic event,” EDCSO said. “The search and recovery efforts have been concluded.”
