KL Rahul best Asian opener in England?
KL Rahul has become the first Asian opener to score 3 centuries in England. The 33-year-old brought up his 9th Test hundred in Headingley and top-scored for India. Only one of KL Rahul’s nine centuries has come at home. 6 of them are outside of Asia. Only Sunil Gavaskar has more away hundreds in Test cricket than him.
India lose 6 wickets for 31 runs
For the second time in four days, Team India suffered a major collapse. At one point, the visitors were 333/4 and had a 339-run lead. From there, the remaining wickets fell for just 31 runs. A similar situation had occurred in the first innings, as India lost the last 7 wickets for just 41 runs.

Prithvi Shaw has asked the Mumbai Cricket Association for an NOC after deciding to represent another state in domestic cricket. The talented opener has fallen out of favour in Mumbai and hasn’t played for them since December last year. Reports suggest that he might play for Maharashtra going forward but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Karun Nair’s Test return ends sour
Karun Nair’s Test return hasn’t gone the way he expected. Playing for India after 8 years, the veteran batter had scored a 4-ball duck. In the second innings, Nair managed to score 20 runs despite coming in to bat when the score was 287/4. He looked very tentative during his 50-ball stay and ultimately was caught and bowled.
Bumrah on dropped catches
Jasprit Bumrah was asked about how he felt about three catches being dropped off his bowling. The pacer stated that he didn’t cry about it and simply moved on. He understands that nobody is dropping catches on purpose. And he realises if he shows anger or frustration, it might affect the fielder for the worse.
