My Chemical Romance is back on the road, as the band kicks off their much-anticipated Long Live: The Black Parade Tour in July. Their last one, The World Reunion Tour, wrapped in 2023. The tour was supposed to happen in 2020 but postponed due to the pandemic. This tour is especially exciting for the nostalgic emo kids from the 2000s or new ones just discovering the band’s iconic discography.
My Chemical Romance, widely known for smash hits including “Welcome To The Black Parade,” “Teenagers” and “Famous Last Words,” is dedicating a tour to the album that skyrocketed the band to success — 19 years later. The album will be played in full every night, and each one will be opened by different artists, including Death Cab for Cutie, Evanescence and Wallows.
Their official Instagram page has been dropping various video teasers to describe a fictional world named DRAAG run by an authoritarian figure called “The Grand Immortal Dictator” alongside other interesting characters that leaves the fans even more curious how the storyline is all interconnected.
