A MAJOR auto group has unveiled its latest dealership, offering fan-favorite cars inside a sleek new showroom.
It marks the company’s 16th dealership as the brand continues its expansion across the region.

Anderson Automotive Group officially cut the ribbon on Anderson Kia on Perryville on June 17.
The nearly 30,000-square-foot facility replaces the group’s previous Kia dealership in nearby Rockford, a city in Northern Illinois.
The upgraded site is three times the size of the former location and brings in modern upgrades and technology.
It also comes with a big promise from company president Chad Anderson, according to the Rockford Register Star.
“We are proud to unveil this new facility as part of our ongoing investment in both our customers and the Kia brand,” he told the outlet.
“This new location reflects our commitment to delivering not only exceptional vehicles, but also an elevated, customer-first experience at every touchpoint.”
The dealership boasts 14 service bays, dual indoor drive-in service lanes for faster check-ins, and an on-site car wash.
There’s also a modern showroom with massive windows stretching more than 20 feet high.
Customers can kick back in a premium lounge equipped with a 100-inch flat-screen TV, per Rock River Current.
“It’s a very welcoming environment, very free and very open,” Anderson said.
“Our furniture, our lounge, our snacks, our beverages, our TVs — they’re all state of the art and all brand new. It’s a nice place to hang out on a day to day basis.”
Kia’s regional director, Scott Fitzgerald, said the new dealership stands out from others he’s visited.
“This is an amazing dealership,” Fitzgerald said.

Anderson Automotive Group has been in the business since 1970 and added Kia to its portfolio in 2003.
Its former Rockford location will continue to house the group’s Ford, Mitsubishi, and Collision Center operations.
The new site was built from the ground up with support from the city of Loves Park, including a multi-year sales tax rebate deal.
City officials say the dealership could become one of the area’s top revenue generators.
“This car dealership right here is going to be close to being No. 1 when they get going,” Mayor Greg Jury said.
He hinted more Anderson projects could follow.
“Hopefully in a couple years we’re doing this exact same thing with another one of your dealerships,” he said.
