GATES, N.Y. – Gates Police said a teenager is recovering after being hit by a car while riding a bike on Spencerport Road on Saturday evening. The teen was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
Police said the driver of the car was not at fault.
A car that was not part of the scene swerved to avoid the crash and hit a tree at the Northampton Parks Apartments. That driver was not hurt, and the car had minor damage.
