The Windsor Community Playhouse announced its 2025-2026 season lineup.
This season features five shows, including the annual dinner theater, with tickets for all five shows starting at $110. All shows will be at the Windsor Community Playhouse, 561 E. Garden Drive, Unit A.
“Over the River and Through the Woods” starts the season from Sept.12-28.
Nick is a single, Italian-American from New Jersey. His parents retired and moved to Florida. However, he still sees both sets of his grandparents every Sunday for dinner in New Jersey. This is routine until he has to tell them that he’s been offered a dream job as a marketing executive. It would take him away from his beloved grandparents, and that news doesn’t sit so well. So, a series of schemes to keep Nick around begins.
“One Christmas Eve at Evergreen Mall” takes the stage from Nov. 21 to Dec. 14.
It’s the last day of shopping before Christmas at a Midwestern mall. Eight intertwined stories about a diverse cast of characters from a lovesick mall Santa to an overeager mall cop, this Christmas Eve story wraps the joys and sorrows of the season into one festive package.
“Screwball Comedy” takes the stage from Jan. 28 to Feb.8, 2026.
It’s 1938 and newly laid-off perfumier Mary Hayes is trying to break into the male dominated world of newspaper journalism. Editor-in-Chief Bosco Godfrey sets a competition between his egotistical star reporter, Jeff Kincaid, and Hayes, assigning them to cover a society wedding. If Kincaid writes a better story, he keeps his job. If she wins, she replaces him in the newsroom.
“South of Hope.” The performance dates are TBA.
When life steals your dreams, you just have to dream harder, as is the case for a wheelchair-bound hockey player, a blind photographer and an amputee factory worker. The trio meets for group therapy sessions in this two-act play about healing and accomplishing the impossible.
“Having a Wonderful Time, Wish You Were Here” takes the stage from March 27 to April 12, 2026.
This wild bedroom farce involves infidelity, double standards, midnight rendezvous and a hungry bear. The story tells the wild tales of various couples who end up sharing a weekend with each other.
