ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A game that brings together players, fans, alumni, and communities is returning to Rochester this fall.
The Central State Marauders will take on the Lane College Dragons on Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Rochester Community Sports Complex at 1 p.m. for the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Football Classic.
On Thursday, Sept. 25 at Blue Cross Arena, there will be a HBCU College Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. where students can meet representatives from over 20 HBCU’s.
Prior to the game on Saturday, there will be a tailgate party from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. with food and music. After the game, there will be a “Battle of the Bands,” where the Invincible Marching Marauders of Central State University and the Quiet Storm of Lane College will perform.
