For the first time in his MLB career, Jac Caglianone has left the yard. Two weeks after getting the call-up to the bigs, Caglianone hit his first home run as a Kansas City Royal.
Caglianone’s first homer came at Texas in the top of the 2nd inning of the Royals’ game against the Rangers.

— MLB (@MLB) June 19, 2025Caglianone’s solo shot went 387 feet to right-center field at an exit velocity of 106.5 mph. Fans are amazed that the pitch was high and well out of the zone for the 6-5 Caglianone. He went up and got it, and hit the ball at a 35-degree launch angle.

He hit a program record 75 home runs at Florida, with 68 coming in the 2023 and ’24 seasons. The No. 6 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft, Caglianone hit 15 hoe runs in 50 games of AA and AAA action in 2025.
