It’s time for the return of the Greeley Stampede. The Northern Colorado summer staple is back with all of its concerts, food and fun.
From an early Saturday morning workout to a late-night movie Tuesday, this week is packed with fun inside and outside the Stampede.
Saturday
Upward Fitness Studio hosts a free 45-minute workout starting at 8:30 a.m. at the St. Michael’s amphitheater, across from The Tavern at St. Michael’s, 2918 67th Ave., Greeley. To register, go to upwardfitnessstudio.com/bootcampregistration.
Family Field Day is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lincoln Park, 800 10th Ave., Greeley. This free community event features water games, sack races, family challenges and other fun activities.
Azteca Boxing hosts a car wash fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Azteca Gym, 2525 W. 10th St., Greeley. All proceeds fund youth boxing programs, training gear and travel expenses to competitions.
Sunday
Community Grows Land Works hosts The Grub fundraiser starting at noon at The Rush Event Center, 1112 40th St., Evans. This fundraiser features food, beer, drinks and entertainment with all funding going toward feeding the community.
Monday
Peculier Ales Windsor hosts free-to-play Texas Hold’em from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the bar, 301 Main St. Bar gift cards and other prizes can be won.
Tuesday
Gentry’s will host a “Shrek” movie night starting at 9:30 p.m. at the bar, 813 9th St., Greeley. There is a special cocktail and shot menu for the movie, as well as snacks.
Wednesday
The Greeley Stampede opens. From the longhorn drive to the 4 p.m. grand opening ribbon cutting, the Stampede is back with a full slate of events. To see a full list of events and to purchase tickets, go to greeleystampede.org.
Thursday
Daniel Geary of Lone Tree Antique and Fine Art will give a history hour talk starting at noon at the Greeley History Museum, 714 8th St. Geary will speak about the 400-year story of the cowboy and how cowboys helped grow the cattle industry in North America. This free event is a part of the Greeley Stampede kick-off.
The John Mills Orchestra plays at 7 p.m. at the Family FunPlex Amphitheater, 1501 65th Ave., Greeley. This is a part of the FunPlex’s 2025 Summer Concert Series. It’s a free event. The series happens every Thursday night until Aug. 7. To see the full lineup, go to tinyurl.com/2hzas99n.
Friday, June 27
Loveland’s Ice Cream Festival is from 4-9 p.m. at Foundry Plaza, located on East Third Street in downtown Loveland. There will be sweet treats and desserts from local vendors, as well as free kids’ activities.
