AARON Rodgers will find things very different in Pittsburgh from his last job after Mike Tomlin’s decision.
The quarterback, 41, has signed a one-year deal worth $13.6 million with the Steelers for 2025.

Rodgers had been a free agent since March when he was released by the New York Jets.
The four-time MVP had two years to forget at the Jets and the team cut ties.
He played just four snaps in 2023 before suffering a season-ending torn Achilles.
And the Jets went 5-12 last year despite holding post-season expectations before the year began.
New York went all-in on Rodgers and essentially handed him the keys to the offense.
They traded for wide receiver Davante Adams, who was Rodgers’ favored receiver in Green Bay, and also had Allen Lazard on the roster.
Even in his latter years in Green Bay, the Packers gave Rodgers a lot of control over the offense.
But that will change in Pittsburgh this year, it has been claimed.
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reporter Christopher Carter thinks Rodgers will have to fit into Tomlin’s existing structure.
He was speaking on the Locked on Steelers show on YouTube and made comparisons to Brock Purdy’s new $265 million deal with the San Francisco 49ers.
“I think the Steelers might get a break from that part of Aaron Rodgers in that they aren’t handing him some $150 million contract over three years,” Carter said.
“They aren’t handing him the keys to the offence and the keys to the whole team and giving him all this power.
“They’re saying, ‘Hey, come in and be part of what we’re doing right now.’
“And that, I think, is fine.
“As far as what I think Aaron Rodgers should be doing if he’s the Steelers quarterback, I think that there’s going to be a lot of expectations for him to not fall into the pitfalls that a lot of these other quarterbacks have fallen into when it comes to how defenses are trying to counteract them.
“There’s going to be a lot of expectations for him to be able to think through and adjust through what teams are trying to do to take away what the Steelers want Aaron Rodgers to be able to do.”
Rodgers claimed his decision to join the Steelers and coach Tomlin was for his soul.
He said, “A lot of decisions that I’ve made over my career and life from strictly the ego, even if they turn out well, are always unfulfilling.
“But the decisions made from the soul are usually pretty fulfilling.
“This was a decision that was best for my soul.
“I felt like being here with coach Mike Tomlin and the guys that got here, and the opportunity here was the best for me and I’m excited to be here.”
