A brush fire burning in the Bonsall area has scorched about 20 acres and is threatening some structures, according to Cal Fire.
The fire is located near the 5000 block of South Mission Road, with evacuation orders in effect for neighborhoods north of state Route 76, east of South Mission Road and south of Via Monserate.
Ground crews, air tankers and water-dropping helicopters are working to contain the flames, fire officials said.
