A WOMAN who has had four BBLs at the age of 30 has insisted she doesn’t care about the risks involved in the dangerous surgery.
Scarlett is no stranger to showing off her curves on her social media pages, and appeared on ITV show This Morning to discuss her love of going under the knife.

“I had that done and I thought, ‘Ooh, that was nice!'” Scarlett grinned.
“So then I went and had my nose done and then the BBLs started… I think five years ago I had my first one.
“And then I’ve kind of tried to have one every year.
“I did skip a year but yeah, so I’ve had four altogether now.”
Cat asked Scarlett if she was influenced by social media or the celebrity world to have her surgeries, to which she admitted that it had a big part in her choice.
She also said she “doesn’t want anyone on the Internet to call me fat”, and added that trolls call her that “all the time”.
“I’ve had four rounds of lipo and they still call me fat, so no matter how many things I could have done, people would still have stuff to say.”
Scarlett had 360 liposuction as part of the BBL – with the “purest fat” taken from her stomach, upper back, lower back, arms, legs and double chin and injected back into her bum.
“I think the dangerous part is when they inject it back into the bum, because if they inject it into the wrong place, it can block an artery or something,” she admitted.
And because of the dangers involved, her family pleaded with her not to go ahead with the BBLs.
“Everybody was like, ‘please don’t get it done, it’s really dangerous’,” she recalled.
“But I think they probably knew I was going to get it done anyway.”
In terms of the dangers involved, Scarlett ended up getting “lipo burns” in her first time having the BBL.
“I didn’t realise that that wasn’t normal,” she said.
“They healed ok, there’s just some little scars and stuff.
What are Brazilian Butt Lifts and why are they so popular?
Buttock enlargement surgery – known as a Brazilian butt-lift (BBL) – is used to make the bum look bigger, rounded and lifted.
Surgeons transfer fat, inject filler or insert silicone-filled implants.
It is the fastest growing cosmetic procedure but also one of the most dangerous, according to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
Many patients are travelling to the likes of Turkey or seeking out unregistered surgeons in the UK and are not given full information on the risks.
BBLs carry the highest risk of all cosmetic surgeries – with more than one death occurring per 4,000 procedures.
Due to celebrities undergoing such ops, many women are hoping to emulate their looks.
Consultant clinical psychologist Dr Anu Sayal-Bennett, a chartered member of the British Psychological Society, told the BBC: “Despite there being so much about body positivity, there are pressures for women – and men too – to look a certain way.”
Many people travel abroad for the procedure because it is cheaper and advertising is “terribly seductive”, combined with the idea of a beach holiday, added Dr Sayal-Bennett.
“At the end of the day, I knew the risks going in and I thought it was normal.”
Scarlett, who also spoke about her surgery on Oliva Attwood’s show The Price of Perfection, added that she decided to have all of her surgeries abroad because they were willing to give her a more “extreme” look than anyone in the UK.
“I didn’t even look at any surgeons in the UK,” she admitted.
But due to being abroad, things were done slightly differently in the UK – in that she didn’t meet her surgeon until the day of her op, and had been sending photos of herself online up until that point.
Asked by Ben and Cat if she’s happy with the way she looks now, Scarlett replied: “I’m definitely satisfied, and that was my last round!”
However, she then clarified that she would be having any surgery for a “long time” – but would never say never.
