And this week, Aldi is dropping a couple of concrete candles that will look pretty darn good in your outdoor space. Plus they look a lot like West Elm and Wayfair styles that cost almost six times the price.From June 18 to June 24, Aldi will be selling their Kirkton House Outdoor Concrete Candle for $9.99 each in the Aldi Finds aisle of local U.S. stores. The candles are sturdy thanks to their outer material, and they are pretty big too. Kirkton House Outdoor Concrete Candle, $9.99 at Aldi
(Aldi)One of the three shapes it comes in is a rectangle candle. This one holds 28.8 ounces of wax and has two wood wicks vertically, to cover the whole area of the candle when it’s lit. Then there’s the round candle. This one holds 26.4 ounces of wax with one wood wick in the middle. This one is 37.3 ounces and is taller than it is wide, meaning it only needs one wood wick to burn the wax over the whole area of the candle. The wax in all of these candles is white, and although Aldi hasn’t shared the scent, it’s worth checking out to see if you like it.
Charlie Ceramic Filled Candles - Smoked Woods, $35.99 (originally $99) at West Elm
(West Elm)This affordable candle from Aldi is a lot like others out there, including West Elm’s Charlie Ceramic Filled Candle in Smoked Woods. The 31.4 oz trough candle is on sale right now for $35.99 (though it was originally $99). It is a rounded trough candle, so it’s not exactly the same look, but the ceramic vessel and white wax is a similar idea to Aldi’s. This one is cotton wicks longways down this candle so that the wax burns evenly.
