ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Once again, we’re all dealing with clouds this morning, and once again, expect those clouds to shift south as the day goes on. Temperatures this father’s Day will reach the mid 70s, with a northeast wind around 10 MPH. Dew points will peak near 60, making for a comfortable air. There are chances for spotty light showers mainly near the Finger Lakes in the afternoon, but this evening should be dry for everyone.
Mainly dry and warm conditions Monday and Tuesday, but dew points will steadily rise going into Thursday which will cause some uncomfortable weather. Increased humidity also means we’ll have some thunderstorms midweek, and Thursday could have some strong ones. We’re still several days out from that, so make sure to check back in for specific details later. Those thunderstorms signal the passing of a cold front, but truthfully it will be more like a dry front. Air will still be warm Friday, but dew points take a big dive. We see a big heat up next weekend and early next week, with 90 degrees not off the table for next Tuesday.
