ROCHESTER, N.Y. – After plenty of sunshine and a high temperature of 80 yesterday, we’re tracking a weak cold front that will cool us down today, then we are looking at multiple chances for showers over the next several days; including Father’s Day. Today, we’ll get up near the mid 70s, with a good amount of afternoon sunshine after a slight chance of a late morning shower. Air quality won’t be nearly as bad as it was last weekend, but it is still not perfect.
Clouds arrive and cooler than average temperatures remain tomorrow, then both Saturday and Sunday there is at least a chance for showers. Chances are relatively low, however; and the latest model guidance suggests we may even be in the clear for Saturday. This is something we’re tracking very closely, so make sure to check back in at noon today for the latest update!
Muggier weather and warmer temperatures return next week. The next 6-14 days are leaning above normal in terms of total rainfall, but June 25th-July 4th is looking like it will be on par with how much rain we usually get.
